Import Specialist
Description
  • − Review and verify customs declaration details to ensure accuracy, including Hs code, Quantity, weight, product description, country of origin, Incoterm…
  • − Liaise with customs brokers and government agencies to ensure smooth clearance of goods in South/North
  • − Track and report on shipment status and resolve any issues related to customs clearance, delay delivery, compliance, damage or discrepancies cargo.
  • − Work with internal departments such as Sale, Finance, and Warehouse to ensure delivery plan/ payment on time.
  • − Review and reconcile logistics-related invoices (customs, freight, service charge, local charge…), ensure accuracy, and follow up with payments daily/monthly.
  • − Maintain accurate records of imports and ensure proper filing of import documentation for audits or regulatory purposes by month.
Qualifications

1. Education background:

  • − Bachelor degree or above in Logistics/ Import or related majors

2. Working experience:

  • − At least 1 years of working experience in import operations or international logistics or related role.
  • − Experience working with customs brokers or freight forwarders.
  • − Familiarity with import documentation and Harmonized Tariff Codes.

3. Skills:

  • − Good command in English
  • − Good communication and coordination skills with suppliers, forwarders, and internal departments
  • − Good understanding of customs clearance procedures, HS codes, Incoterms, and import/export regulations
  • − Strong Organization & Time Management

4. Others:

  • − Detailed Oriented, Multitask
