
The IT Application Specialist is responsible for ensuring the stability, operation, and continuous improvement of enterprise applications, including SAP and related systems (WMS, TMS, OMS, CRM and other business applications). The role supports business operations across Sales, Logistics, Service, Finance and HR by maintaining system performance, resolving incidents, and supporting system enhancements.
1. APPLICATION OPERATIONS AND SUPPORT (50%)
- • Ensure stable daily operations of SAP and integrated enterprise applications. Monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application incidents within defined SLA.
- • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventive solutions.
- • Coordinate with vendors and internal IT teams to resolve complex system issues.
- • Support critical business operations such as month-end closing and peak operational periods.
2. BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND SYSTEM ENHANCEMENT (25%)
- • Collaborate with business units to gather and document system requirements.
- • Perform fit-gap analysis for change requests and system enhancements.
- • Support UAT activities and validate system changes before deployment
- • Propose improvements to optimize business processes and system efficiency.
- • Maintain documentation including SOPs, user manuals and system process.
3. REPORTING AND DATA SUPPORT (15%)
- • Prepare operational and management reports.
- • Extract, validate, and reconcile data using advanced Excel and basic SQL queries.
- • Support ad-hoc reporting and ensure data consistency across integrated systems.
4. GOVERNANCE AND SYSTEM COMPLIANCE (10%)
- • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and governance standards.
- • Support system upgrades, release coordination, and testing activities.
- • Participate in internal or external audits related to application systems. All other related tasks assigned by Line Manager.
1. Education background: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Information System, Computer Science, or related fields.
2. Working experience:
- • Minimum 2 years of experience supporting ERP or enterprise applications.
- • Hands-on experience with SAP (ECC or S/4HANA) or similar ERP systems.
- • Experience working with enterprise systems such as WMS, TMS, OMS, CRM or related platforms.
- • Experience handling system incidents and coordinating cross-functional issue resolution.
- • Experience in manufacturing, wholesale, or distribution environments is preferred.
3. Skills:
- • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) TMS, WMS and CRM platforms.
- • Basic SQL querying capability and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- • Understanding of system integration concepts such as interfaces, data flow, and error handling.
- • Experience using ticket or incident management systems.
- • Knowledge of reporting tools such as Power BI is a plus.
- • Good English communication.
4. Others:
- • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- • Ability to communicate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- • Practical use of AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT) to improve efficiency in analysis, reporting, and documentation.
